Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Setting up a Jane app profile is a great first step. Please ensure you book your free consult here with our intake counsellor BEFORE booking a first session with this therapist.

Zaki is a warm, empathetic psychotherapist who creates a judgment-free space where every story is met with curiosity and respect. Drawing on training in psychodynamic therapy, systemic therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and faith-based approaches, he tailors each session to fit the unique needs and values of his clients—whether they are individuals, couples, families, or groups.

His clinical focus includes recovery from sexual addiction, betrayal trauma, and other compulsive behaviours—work informed by his master’s thesis on the impact of childhood trauma on problematic pornography use. Zaki also supports clients seeking relief from anxiety, shame, or relationship distress. When desired, he thoughtfully integrates faith or spirituality into the therapeutic process.

For clients interested in incorporating their spirituality or faith into their therapeutic journey, Zaki offers a sensitive and inclusive approach to integrate these aspects into the counselling process.

Zaki is attentive, non-judgmental, and deeply validating—someone who helps people feel seen, heard, and empowered. Outside the clinic, he recharges by reading, hiking with friends, and staying active at the gym.
