Michael Browning’s journey in therapy is deeply personal, shaped by his own experiences with addiction and its impact on individuals and families. After seven years in pastoral counseling, he pursued advanced studies in psychotherapy to deepen his specialized knowledge. His work as an addiction counselor at Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services, combined with his early experience helping couples navigate compulsive behaviors and infidelity, fueled his passion for supporting those affected by sexual addiction. In 2011, he established his private practice, and in 2014, he founded The Whitestone Clinic to provide targeted treatment for sex addiction in Canada’s National Capital Region and beyond. Mic’s pioneering initiative, “Return To Love,” reflects his dedication to helping clients heal and reconnect with their core selves and their relationships.
