Nancy Al Kayal is a Lebanese psychologist and psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in the field. She moved to Canada two years ago and is currently in the final stages of establishing her autonomous practice as a psychologist and psychotherapist. Nancy holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and a University Diploma in Mediation. She is also certified in various therapeutic approaches, including Art Therapy, Contemplative-Based Trauma and Resilience, Cue-Centered Therapy, Gottman Method (Level 1-2), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (Level 1-2), and is set to obtain certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in September 2024. Nancy is trained in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) to intervene in cases of suicidality.

Nancy’s areas of interest include, but are not limited to, trauma, communication, conflict resolution, behavioral challenges, and mood disorders. She works with clients of all ages, including children, adults, families, groups, and couples, using an integrative approach tailored to their specific needs. Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, Nancy also has an intermediate proficiency in Italian, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of clients.

In addition to her clinical practice, Nancy has led various initiatives and research projects in the field. She has published a guided journal, “30 Days to Make It Happen,” which presents psychological techniques in accessible language, and has participated in numerous conferences, webinars, and training sessions. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys sports, reading, and writing. Nancy believes that psychology and psychotherapy are more than just a profession—they are a mission she is deeply passionate about.
