How watching pornography affects your relationship

My husband and I found The Whitestone Clinic shortly after the crisis of discovery and we scheduled the Director’s Cut that first week without each knowing the other had signed up. I wanted *something* in those early moments and as I was searching for any and all information I could get, the session was a safe, anonymous way to get a “flavor” of the clinic. I didn’t know what to expect but that first night, the talk was on “Forgiveness” which initially I almost laughed about as this certainly wasn’t what I thought I needed at that moment. I stayed for the talk regardless of my initial impulse and was surprised how much of it felt like it spoke to me personally.

I looked forward to each of the next weeks’ sessions and have gotten wonderful nuggets of information from each one. They created great topics of conversation for my husband and I – since we both attend them, albeit in separate rooms. And finally, it gave me the confidence I needed to know that Whitestone was going to be the place for my husband and I to both pursue our own healing and ultimately, hopefully, the healing of our marriage.
