Nancy Al Kayal is a psychologist and psychotherapist with over a decade of experience. She is registered with both the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec and the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and a University Diploma in Mediation. Nancy is certified in various therapeutic approaches, including Art Therapy, Contemplative-Based Trauma and Resilience, Cue-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. She has also completed Level 1 and 2 of the Gottman Approach, as well as training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
Nancy is trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) for suicide prevention and has earned multiple certifications in her field.
Her areas of interest include trauma, communication, conflict resolution, behavioral challenges, and mood disorders. She works with children, adults, families, groups, and couples using an integrative approach tailored to their needs. Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, she also has intermediate proficiency in Italian, enabling her to connect with a diverse range of clients.
Beyond clinical practice, Nancy has led research projects and initiatives in psychology. She is the author of 30 Days to Make It Happen, a guided journal that presents psychological techniques in an accessible way. She has also participated in numerous worldwide conferences, webinars, and training sessions.
Outside of work, she enjoys sports, reading, and writing. To Nancy, psychology and psychotherapy are more than just a profession—they are a mission she is deeply passionate about.
