Jake MacCallum

Setting up a Jane app profile is a great first step. Please ensure you book your free consult here with our intake counsellor BEFORE booking a first session with this therapist.

Jake MacCallum is an intern from Saint Paul University. Originally from Prince Edward Island, his East Coast hospitality and small-town courtesy make him an attentive and sensitive psychotherapist. With an educational background in psychology and midway through a Master of Counselling and Spirituality program, Jake also has direct client experience through a supervised practicum.

Jake’s practice is grounded in the curative powers of the therapeutic alliance, the will to make meaning, the limitlessness of transformation, and the sovereignty of the individual. With a philosophical bent toward Viktor Frankl’s logotherapy and Carl Jung’s integration of spirituality into psychology, Jake understands that we sit on the shoulders of giants.

For a freshman in the field, Jake is knowledgeable in the recovery of lust addiction and attachment anxiety and is willing to encourage and accompany clients as they confront their most profound suffering.
