Daniele N. Buschman is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, and a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia. She is a passionate collaborator who values working closely with clients to support their goals and enhance their well-being. She creates a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard and respected and believes that a healthy connection between client and therapist is foremost in promoting client growth and healing.
Daniele has a particular interest in providing support for those who have experienced betrayal trauma. She is a Level 1 AEDP therapist. Her work is trauma-informed as well as spiritually-informed and combines a variety of person-centred and experiential approaches in her work. She also provides therapy for those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal conflict, questions of meaning making, and uncertainty in life direction.
Daniele completed her MA in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University (Ottawa, Ontario). In her research, she focused on self-compassion as a healing tool for survivors of complex trauma. She is a professional member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She has clinical experience providing individual counselling at the Saint Paul University Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre and has been providing individual and group counselling at The Whitestone Clinic since 2018.
Daniele provides counselling services under the supervision of Registered Psychologist Dr. Brenda Saxe.
