Daniele Neve Buschman is a passionate collaborator who values working closely with clients to support their goals and enhance their well-being. She creates a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard and respected and believes that a healthy connection between client and therapist is foremost in promoting client growth and healing.
Daniele has a particular interest in providing support for those who have experienced betrayal trauma. She works from a trauma-informed, as well as spiritually-informed, lens and combines a variety of person-centered and experiential approaches in her work. She also provides counselling for those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal conflict, questions of meaning making, and uncertainty in life direction.
Previously, Daniele worked in student-life development where she worked to foster the personal development of university-aged students and created a safe and supportive environment to promote the students’ giftings and to develop their abilities as young leaders.
Daniele completes her MA in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University (Ottawa, Ontario) in the Spring of 2019. In her research, she focused on self-compassion as a healing tool for survivors of complex trauma. She is a student member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She has clinical experience providing individual counselling at the Saint Paul University Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre and has also provided individual and group counselling at The Whitestone Clinic over the past year.
Daniele provides counselling services under the supervision of Danielle Vriend-Fluit, PhD, RP, RMFT.
